Brachioplasty, also known as an arm lift, removes excess fat and skin from the upper arms to achieve a slimmer, more toned appearance.
This procedure is ideal for patients who have a significant amount of hanging skin or fat in the upper arms but have also maintained a stable weight.
During an arm lift, an incision is made in the armpit or along the inner arm. Then, excess skin and fat deposits are removed and the remaining tissue is reshaped. This procedure is performed under general anesthesia in our outpatient surgery center.
Recovery time is typically 1-2 weeks.
