Lower Body Lift
A lower body lift is performed to tighten and tone the abdomen, back, buttocks, hips and thighs. This procedure is frequently performed on patients that have undergone extreme weightloss.
During a lower body lift, incisions are made along the waistline. Skin is then raised from the underlying tissue, muscles are tightened, and fat is removed wherever necessary. Results are visible immediately.
This procedure is often combined with a breast lift, arm lift, or liposuction to restore natural body proportions. Body lifts are performed under general anesthesia in our on-site surgery center.
Recovery time is typically 2-6 weeks.
