The SmartSkin+ differs from traditional CO2 lasers by employing a series of fractional laser beams that are directed into the skin. While these beams of light affect the treated skin, the surrounding skin remains unaffected. In addition, the laser stimulates the production of new collagen deep within the skin, giving you a more youthful-looking appearance.

Immediately following the treatment, the skin will feel warm and may appear sunburned.
