Dr. Boudreault can perform this procedure on many areas of the body using local anesthesia or Pro-Nox in our minor procedure room. Once the local anesthetic is applied, Dr. Boudreault will administer the helium plasma and radiofrequency energy. Body treatments can take longer than face treatments, but depending upon the area, the procedure may be complete in about an hour. Your care team will provide transportation instructions based on the anesthesia or sedation used.
After receiving Renuvion body contouring, Palo Alto and San Jose patients will normally be given a compression garment, which should be worn for at least 72 hours. Healing occurs from the inside out after a Renuvion body treatment. Immediately after the procedure, you should expect mild swelling and bruising. After a week or two, this should fade. Your provider will advise you when it is appropriate to resume normal activities.
Renuvion body contouring in San Jose or Palo Alto is designed to improve the appearance of loose, mildly wrinkled skin on treatment areas of the body. It may create a firmer, smoother appearance for patients with skin laxity related to aging, weight loss or other factors. Your consultation will determine whether Renuvion for the body is appropriate for your concerns.
You may notice some initial tightening after the procedure. Over time, your skin may continue to improve as you heal and collagen remodeling occurs. Results become clearer as swelling and tenderness subside in treated areas such as the arms, back, thighs, flanks or beneath the buttocks.
Your individual cost will depend on which areas of the body you choose to treat and the size of each treatment area. You may choose to schedule Renuvion for different parts of your body at different times.
