What To Expect From IPL Recovery
Since the IPL laser treatment is a non-invasive procedure, there’s no need to take time off of work in order to recover. However, patients can expect to experience a red and flushed appearance after the treatment; therefore, it’s important to wear sunscreen and avoid retinoid for a few weeks.
Over the next week or so after the treatment, brown spots and hyperpigmentation will begin to darken and rise to the surface.
