When it comes to the treatment of labial hypertrophy, we offer a vaginal rejuvenation procedure known as a labiaplasty. This relatively short and simple operation involves the surgical reduction of excess labial tissue. During the surgery, a shortening and evening out of the labia minora is the primary focus. Once the procedure is complete, that excess labial tissue will not return, although the remaining tissue could stretch out again if you have a child. Because this surgery is relatively fast, some patients take this opportunity to combine it with other procedures such as breast augmentation, breast lift or liposuction.
You should see the results from your labiaplasty immediately. While there may be some soreness or swelling, it will dissipate in about a week or two.
