The Palo Alto & San Jose PDO thread lift is a simple procedure that involves inserting threads, either barbed or smooth, made of Polydioxanone (PDO), into the face, then using these threads to lift the face and tighten sagging skin. This has multiple effects. First, it lifts the skin. Second, it contracts fat tissue and tightens the skin and finally, it stimulates collagen production and neovascularization which can improve your skin’s elasticity and texture as well as reduce the fine lines that come with aging. The threads themselves are absorbed harmlessly by your body after about six months.
The PDO thread lift is a fast and safe procedure that only requires local anesthesia.
